The 4708th Air Defense Wing is an inactive United States Air Force organization. Its last assignment was with the 30th Air Division, being stationed at Selfridge Air Force Base, Michigan. It was inactivated on 18 October 1956.

Provided air defense of Great Lakes area. Controlled Oscoda AFB and Kinross AFB units beginning 1 July 1952 until activation of 527th Air Defense Group on 16 February 1953 at Oscoda and 534th Air Defense Group at Kinross on 27 April 1953.
Redesignated 1st Fighter Wing (Air Defense), 18 October 1956 as result of ADC "Project Arrow" notable unit redesignation program.
